1. what are RoFlexs fences?
Our RoFlexs fences are mobile and flexible fencing systems that are ideal for various applications such as competition paddocks, subdivision fences and, for example, therapy paddocks.
2. difference between Basic and Premium?
With RoFlexs Basic, the aluminium profiles are bright aluminium as they come out of production. If, for example, you rub the profile with a white glove, it would turn grey due to the aluminium abrasion. In the RoFlexs Premium series, the aluminium profiles are additionally anodised/finished. As a result, there is no abrasion, but high weather resistance. There are also differences in the paddock sizes/fence strip lengths, which can be extended up to 36 square metres/6 metres for the RoFlexs Basic version and up to 56 square metres/7.5 metres for the Premium series.
3. what height is suitable for my horse?
Experience has shown time and again that the 145 centimetre post height is ideal for small horses such as Icelandic horses and Haffling horses. For show jumpers and large horses with a height of over 160 centimetres, we recommend a post height of 160 centimetres. We are also open to special requests for different fence rail heights, just contact us.
4. why am I not getting a reply from the RoFlexs team to my e-mail enquiry?
Our RoFlexs team answers every customer/prospective customer e-mail enquiry. The "s" after the "x" is often forgotten in the RoFlexs e-mail address in e-mails to us. Please make sure you use the correct spelling here.
5. what does the "s" after the "x" in RoFlexs stand for?
The brand name originated from the patent application and is made up of the distinctive initial letters. The patent designation is "RollFlexStaff" and in English "RollFlexStaff", from which the "RoFlexs" brand was derived.
6. what material are RoFlexs fences made of?
RoFlexs fences are made of robust and durable materials such as aluminium posts, galvanised steel spikes and weather-resistant plastics to ensure a long service life and high stability.
7 Which animals are RoFlexs fences particularly suitable for?
RoFlex fences are ideal for keeping and housing all types of horses, whether small or large. Different sizes and requirements are covered by their flexible solutions.
8. how easy is it to erect RoFlexs fences?
RoFlexs fences are easy to handle and do not require any special tools. The fence posts can be assembled and disassembled in seconds, making them ideal for temporary or seasonal fencing.
9. can RoFlexs fences be customised or extended?
Yes, RoFlexs fences are modular and can be customised to meet specific requirements. You can change or flexibly extend the length of the fence and paddock size as required.
10. are RoFlexs fences safe for animals?
RoFlex fences impress with their animal-friendly and safe design. The well thought-out materials and sturdy construction minimise the risk of injury and provide your animals with a reliable environment.
11. what is the best way to get a RoFlexs post into heavy/sturdy ground without bending the ground spike?
Place your feet far enough apart (to avoid injury as much as possible), lift the post up in front of your chest and ram it into the ground with your own weight and a lot of force. Then press the post firmly into the ground again with your foot and body weight via the side step plate. When pulling out the post, briefly move the top of the cap back and forth a maximum of 10 centimetres to make it easier to get it out of the solid ground. If the post is pushed back and forth more than 10 centimetres at the top, you are already weakening the ground spike and it will bend completely unexpectedly the next time you insert it.
12. how easy to maintain are RoFlexs fences?
With minimal maintenance, RoFlex fences are particularly easy to care for. It is important to ensure that the strip slides out straight during installation. Regular cleaning with water and occasional checks for damage are sufficient to keep the fences in perfect condition.
13. what heights and lengths are available?
RoFlexs fences are available in various heights and lengths to meet different requirements. The right size can be selected individually for your application.
14. are RoFlexs fences weatherproof?
Yes, RoFlexs fences are weather-resistant and designed for outdoor use. They are protected against weathering and UV radiation, which ensures their durability even under different weather conditions.
15 How do I use a RoFlexs fence correctly?
Whether you are building a paddock or erecting a subdivision fence, assembly is quick and easy. The 1st post is inserted into the ground as a corner post. Now hang the handles of the 2nd post loosely in the insulated brackets (top and bottom) of the 1st post according to the direction to be built and walk with the 2nd post in your hand and with a view of the fence strips that are just being pulled out until the desired distance or the end of the strip is reached. Repeat the steps and after the horse is in the paddock, close the fence straps of the 1st post.
16. may an external electric fence energiser also be connected to a RoFlexs Premium-E post with integrated electric fence energiser?
Although the fully integrated RoFlexs electric fence energiser is protected against external voltage influences, it can be affected and, in extreme cases, destroyed by external voltages, depending on how high they are.
17. can I combine Premium and Basic models?
Yes, the posts are identical in terms of the connections and are therefore compatible.
18. can a RoFlexs post be repaired?
Every single component can be replaced, so yes.
19. can RoFlexs posts be sent in for repair?
The procedure is straightforward: Pack the post securely for dispatch and send us an e-mail with the required data (collection address, number of boxes, telephone number) to service@roflexs.com. We will then instruct the parcel service to collect the parcel from you within 1-2 working days. The driver will bring the parcel label and attach it directly to the parcel.
20. is it possible to change a RoFlexs belt roll myself?
This is also possible: if required, we will be happy to send you the required replacement tape roll. We will also provide you with detailed instructions on how to change it.
21 Why are no accessories included with a single RoFlexs e-post?
All accessories are already included in the RoFlexs Premium E fence set. If the Premium E fence post is damaged to such an extent that a repair appears uneconomical, the individual post can be reordered at any time. In this case, the accessories are already available.
22. my horse has torn off the handle and the strap has disappeared completely into the post, can I simply unscrew the housing and pull the strap out again?
No, because there is a special spring in the tape roll and this overwinds when the fence tape snaps back, weakening the material.
23 The handle does not hold on to the next post, even if it is pressed down firmly.
The small side notches are specially designed for a secure hold. Hang the sheet metal part of the handle loosely in the notch according to the installation direction, ready and secure. Wind and other pulls on the belt only pull this sheet metal part even tighter into the notch so that it cannot jump out.
